Hola! Today I am sharing with you the items that I bought in Madrid. It’s not a massive haul but I am really happy to have these items. The majority of the items are summer pieces. Although I managed to bring enough clothing combinations with me to Spain, I noticed while I was packing that my summer section in my closet is really minimal, especially when comparing it to my fall/winter items. Blame it on the weather as 80% of the time I’ll be wearing trousers and a coat. Summer also always comes without a warning here so one day I was packed head to toe and the other I was looking for shorts.
Still, summer has been great for the first time in forever so I also wanted to add some new summer items to my collection.

By the way, Madrid is aaaamaazing for shopping! It’s next to Paris the best shopping capital in Europe in my opinion. Especially during the sale period.

Curious to see what I bought? Keep on reading!

Bag from Mango

Instagram made my buy this. I spotted this bag on Instagram and fell in love. I have mentioned it before but Instagram is one of my sources for fashion inspiration. Luckily the brand was tagged and checked it online. I also checked the Spanish website as I know Spanish brands are cheaper in Spain. And I was right! Therefore I didn’t buy it right away but put it on my to buy list. I always love and appreciate an item even more when it takes me extra effort to get it.

Dress from Zara

I was in need for summer clothing and Zara had the answer to my problem. Love Zara, especially in Spain. I feel they sell more variety and some things that are not available at home. This dress is just so beautiful and timeless. The pleated detail makes it so flowy when walking. When I shared an outfit pic on Instagram, I received so many nice compliments about it.

Jumpsuit from Zara

When I took this jumpsuit with me into the changing room, I thought I would look like a joke. I was proven wrong as I, unexpected, really liked how this looked on me. I have been wearing it so often since I bought it. Although it’s not bare legged, its super fresh and comfortable to wear on hot days. I sometimes struggle to dress myself ‘’nicely’’ but summer (and sweat) proof when it’s super hot. This jumpsuit is a lifesaver!

Blouse from Zara

You might have spotted this item already in my Palacio de Cristal outfit post. I mentioned in that post how obsessed I am with this blouse. I am a sucker for details so the sleeves and the ruffled neckline are perfect to me.

Bioderma Sensibio Micellar water

This micellar water must be one of the holy grails in french skin care. I have read so many things about it and so many youtubers rave about it. I forgot to buy it when I was in Paris in February. So when I was in Spain, I decided to check some pharmacies to see if they sell it. They also sell this online but sometimes the prices can get so crazy high thats why I waited to buy it. Oh my. They sell so much french skincare in Spanish pharmacies. I bought two big bottles of this micellar water at such great price to stock up for a year or so. This product is amazing. I don’t regret carrying the heavy weight of a litre in my suitcase :p

Perfume from Loewe

Do you know the brand Loewe? It’s a Spanish (higher end) brand that sells clothing, bags and also perfumes. I am a big fan of their designs but unfortunately it’s out of my budget to buy their clothing. Still I love to admire it. The perfumes are luckily within my budget. I spend a long time at the Loewe perfume counter and nearly all of their scents are my taste. This particular one stood out to me as it’s so fresh and citric, which I love for the summer days.

What do you think of my purchases? Also, Have you been shopping lately? Let me know in the comments what you have bought!
