Today I am sharing another outfit that I wore in Spain. It’s one of those outfits that unexpectedly turned out to be nicer than I thought. Especially if you think about the fact that I pulled this look in a minute. Sometimes I spend so much time combining a look and in the end I am still not completely happy with it and sometimes I don’t overthink anything and just pick items and I am super satisfied with it. Just another reminder that not taking everything so serious and not overthinking makes life easier and better, even when it’s about fashion.

The pictures were taken at Palacio de Cristal, which can be found at El Parque del Retiro in Madrid and also at the park. Wow this place is so special. I mean, there’s not really much to see but the construction of this place with all the windows is just magical. The ceiling is real high and the majority of the place is made of glass so a lot of light comes in. Like the name of it already says, just like a palace.

I am wearing a bright blue skort (short+skirt) that is high waisted and is pleated in the front. When I bought the it a few years ago, I would call it my ‘’cheerleading skirt’’. Can you see why? Anyway, I really like this item. I also think I have a thing for pleated items as I also recently bought a pleated dress.

I paired the bottom with a white blouse. As soon as I spotted this blouse in store I was obsessed. I love the sleeve details and ruffle detail.

There seems to be a pattern though in my summer OOTD’s. I finished the look again with my small green bag. As you can see, I don’t really believe in not matching bright colors. My outfit looks so alive with the bag and the skort. Would you wear more than one bright color in an outfit?

I hope you all had a great weekend! Would love to hear your thoughts on my look .
